Whenever you decide to build or upgrade your outdoor structure there are decisions that have to be made. One of the most common is whether to use composite material or pressure treated lumber.

Composite decking materials are certainly more expensive than pressure treated wood but in the long haul, they require less maintenance than standard wood decking, making them less expensive over time.

Plus, pressure treated lumber has the potential to warp, even if stained. We recommend that pressure treated structures be power-washed and stained every two years.

Composite decking is a man-made building product that includes an approximate equal mix of recycled wood fibers and recycled plastic. Composite boards are splinter-free, upkeep is low, there's no need to seal or stain your deck.

Composite decking products are so durable and impervious to rot; they have a much longer lifespan than wood decks.
