Most Common Fence Types Purchased by Wake County Homeowners

While wood fencing is still the most common fence type in Wake County, it is no longer the only option for homeowners.  A variety of materials are now available for homeowners in our area. 

Here are the 3 most common fence types in Wake County:

1. Wood Fencing:  Wood fencing is still the most common fence type that we install.  Clients prefer wood fencing for multiple reasons.  It provides a ton of options.  Homeowners can choose from various heights and styles.  It is also a desirable option because the fencing can be custom.  It can be as detailed or as simple as the homeowner prefers.  Another reason that many of our clients choose wood fencing is because there is a relatively low cost associated with wood compared to other materials available.
2. Aluminum Fencing:  Clients often desire aluminum fencing because it provides a similar look to wrought iron for less cost.  In addition to that, many of our clients prefer this material because it is very durable and is very low maintenance.  While wood may be less expensive it requires much more maintenance.  In addition, aluminum fencing works well on most terrain.  If the homeowners land is level or uneven, we can make aluminum fencing work.  
3. Vinyl Fencing:  Vinyl fencing is often preferred by our clients who desire a clean sleek look.  Vinyl is a continuous even color with no nail holes and many of our homeowners prefer this look.  Vinyl is durable and hold up well. It can last longer than wood and with much less maintenance. Many prefer that it is able to withstand constant weather changes in this area.
