Pet adoption has been on the rise as many homeowners are working remotely, and now have the time to care for a pet. Pet lovers will enjoy these pet friendly home accents that Sierra Structures installs for homeowners in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, and Apex.

3 pet friendly home accents:

  1. Fenced-in yards: For the dogs in our lives, a fenced-in yard provides a space for them to exercise. Whether the kids like to play fetch or the dog loves to run around, having a fence keeps them from escaping the property. There is the added bonus of not having to put them on a leash to go outdoors every time. Outdoor cats also enjoy walking along the fence line to catch birds or just roam around.
  2. Back decks: Most dogs love to be around their owners all the time. Dogs with their keen sense of smell enjoy the back porch while people are grilling dinner. Then, when it is time to eat as a family, dogs are also there for a morsel that happens to drop or is secretly given to them by the kids. The back deck is an additional area for dogs to play and enjoy the outdoors.
  3. Screened-in porches: Cats and dogs alike are fans of screened-in porches. Adding a cat tree gives them a chance to watch the birds or take a catnap. Also, cats are well-known sunbathers and a screened-in porch is perfect for them. Both may not like water, so during rainstorms, they will enjoy relaxing on the porch without getting soaked.

To discuss adding these pet friendly home accents to your home, contact Sierra Structures for a free estimate. We do ask that during the installation process that these pets are kept away from the construction site for safety reasons, but we enjoy seeing pictures of pets enjoying the newly completed additions.
